- 20/12/1951 :
3125 sq. ft. Land donated by Mr. Jaisawal.
- 14/03/1956 :
Purchased 4755sq.ft.of land from Mr. Jaisawal. At a cost of Rs.4000/-
- 1958 :
Construction of stage, puja mandap, store room( adjoining to the North side of the Mandap), play room and urinals (behind stage) at a cost of Rs. 6646.72/-
- 1976-77 :
Reconstruction of stage, which was destroyed in cyclone at a cost of Rs.12393.50. (Rs 500, was donated by Mr. Surya kumar Mukherjee for this work)
- 1977-78 :
Construction of old library building adjoining to Mandap(south direction), at a cost of Rs.9013.87/-
- 1988-89 :
Construction of Boundary Wall at a cost of Rs.11000/-
- 1993-94 :
Renovation of Puja Mandap, construction of Puja Bedi and renovation of old library Hall by increasing the height of the roof-at a cost of Rs.32295/-
- 1997-98 :
Construction of a room with toilet, pump and underground tank, at the west side of entrance gate at a cost of Rs.167192 /-
- 2000-01 :
Purchase of utensils for cooking of ”Bhog”. Before this, utensils were hired from tent house , at a cost of Rs.18254, every year.
- 2002-03 :
a. Construction of one room with toilet above the room of the caretaker.
b. A permanent steel structure covering the entire auditorium with cement flooring at a cost of Rs.284399, was made. Before this,the entire puja activities were conducted under a temporary PANDAL. For the above construction, GI Pipes were donated by our senior member and ex President Mr. Subhash Chandra Sarkhel. (appox. cost Rs.48684/).
c. Stone chips costing Rs.3500/ were donated by Mr. Sahegal and Mr. R. S. Yadav.
d. Shri Utsab De donated corrugated sheets for any future construction.
e. In addition to this Rs.100000/ in cash donated by two renowned teachers of our region namely Ms. Suniti Banerjee and Ms Lily Banerjee, popularly known as Banerjee Sisters.
- 2004-05 and 2005-06 :
a. Construction of New Library Building at a cost of Rs.140725. This construction was made by the donation of Mr. Amar Agrawal, MLA, from his local MLA fund. Milan Mandir library boasts to have around 6000 books in Bengali, Hindi and English. Many books held by the library have been donated by the members of this Institute, while some books have been purchased.
b. Remodelling of stage along with green room, toilet & bathroom.
c. Construction of kitchen space for Bhog preparation and a small new store room at a cost of Rs.1200000 out of the MLA Fund, very kindly provided by local MLA, Mr. Amar Agrawal.
- 2012-13 :
a. Changing of cement flooring of auditorium to parking tiles for an area of about 6000 sq.ft.
b. Fixing granite on puja mandap wall. Also, granite flooring in front of puja mandap.
c. Fixing of tiles on the floor of mandap at cost of Rs.750000
- 2022-23 :
a. Constructed a 336 sq.ft. room on first floor on the north side of entrance at a cost of ₹336000/. b. Renovation of 02 rooms, 02 bathrooms,02 toilets, drains, some other fittings and instalation of two new urinals at a fixed contract price of ₹215000
c. Construction of new inner wall, new drain and some new electrical fittings for ₹49000/
d. Fabrication work related to steel pipe pillar for ₹4500/.
e New steel stair ladder for ₹28001/
f. One Godrej locker for MA’s ornaments for ₹22000/
g. New almirah in Purohit ‘s room for ₹6751/[ To meet the above mentioned expenditures, the well wishers of Milan Mandir have generously contributed around Rs466012. The balance of the total expenses Rs221252, was met by Milan Mandir itself. ]
