Milan Mandir is a Bengali institution of Bilaspur, involved in promoting social, cultural and religious activities. As per MOA and bye laws, the following activities are practised.

To develop religious and moral values in society, the following pujas are performed annually :

• Sharodiya Durga Puja
• Kojagari Lakhsmi Puja
• Shyama Puja
• Narayan Puja
• Basant Panchami
• Saraswati Puja

All Pujas and rituals are performed as per the guidelines and laid down Hindu scriptures.

Bhog and Prasad are distributed amongst all the devotees without any discrimination.

During such activities, drammas, recitation and other cultural activities in bengali and hindi languages are staged regularly. From time to time renowned artists are invited to perform on Milan Mandir stage.

A tri lingual souvenir, “Miloni ” is published during Durga Puja where the members of Milan Mandir are welcome to share their literary talents in the form of interesting stories, essays or poetries in hindi, bengali or english languages. Miloni is going to complete its golden jubilee year in the year 2023.

Sports activities like children sport, badminton, table tennis and bridge competition were organised in the past.

Milan Mandir has organised Blood donation camps in the past where members have donated blood.

During National emergencies like war, floods, famines Milan Mandir has offered donation in cash and kind like food grains and other utility items for the cause. During Corona pandemic the club had offered necessary help to the underprivileged section of the society.

The institution has organised medical camp in its premise in association with “NIRAMOY”, (a social initiative), free medical services to the needy.

Events like bengali new year Rabindra jayanti Nazrul jayanti  are also celebrated regularly.

Our members provide free educational and technical coaching to the students of weaker section.
